Being one who loves to laugh and never one to take life too seriously, “That’s Realty Musing” is the perfect identity for my life and my blog. It is a play on words for one of my most repeated phrases in life “That’s Really Amusing.” If you throw in my real estate career and the fact that I am always musing about something…it all starts to make sense…well, as much sense as a Jeani can make!
I am blessed to live, work and play in the Texas Hill Country which in my not so humble opinion is God’s gift to The Lone Star State. I am a Texas Girl through and through from my epic cowboy boots to my love of Americana Music, from my love of floating the river to my passion for capturing the beauty of the region through the lens of my camera, from my involvement in governmental affairs to protect the private property rights of my fellow Texans to bringing excellence in real estate service to my clients.
My mantra is “ALWAYS have fun!” I carry this through every aspect of my life and it has served me well. My favorite title in this life is that of “Mom.” I have an amazing son who reminds me every day that life is GOOD! He is a little piece of me with his sense of humor and interest in tennis, golf, photography and water sports. He is a little piece of my late Father with his amazing musical talent on the trombone and flute. He is a little piece of Texas history as a descendant of the Alamo, the first Mayor of San Antonio and the signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence. He is living proof that I have done something good in this life.
I am passionate about education. As a certified Core and MCE Real Estate Instructor, it brings me fulfillment and joy to be able to travel this great state empowering Texas REALTORS® with knowledge and skills to improve themselves and take their customer service to a higher level. There really isn’t anything much better than a day in the classroom for me!
Armed with a degree in Copy Writing and Graphic Design, a history as a Marketing Copy Writer and Newspaper Columnist and a passion for the written word, I now share my thoughts, ideas, and observations with the world through “That’s Realty Musing.” It is my hope that you find knowledge, laughter, information, joy, inspiration, motivation and artistry through my blog.
